Chinh
Chinh Doan is a junior earning a bachelors in journalism. She is fluent in Vietnamese, and she is studying Spanish and international studies because she hopes to use the knowledge of these languages to cover our world’s diverse cultures. She is studying abroad with the Journey to Latin America Program.
Chinh is a University of Oklahoma Advantage Scholar, Gaylord College McMahon Scholar and President’s Community Scholars Alum and Mentor. Chinh serves as a Gaylord College Ambassador, Magazine Interest Group Vice-President, Asian American Journalists Association Vice-President and Oklahoma College Broadcasters Historian.
She is also a member of Asian American Student Association, Vietnamese Student Association, Integrity Council and Delta Delta Delta sorority. Chinh volunteers with “OU Nightly,” “The Oklahoma Daily,” “Routes” and Lead Team.
