My name is Anne Ezzell and I am from Enid, Oklahoma. I’m a senior in the College of Fine Arts, majoring in studio art. I study drawing, painting, and printmaking. I decided to go abroad pretty late in the game, when I realized how life-changing the experience had been for my friends. I read about the Journey to Arezzo summer program and felt compelled to apply. Going to Italy only became a reality once I was accepted to the program and figured out how to finance my trip. Now, I can barely believe that I get to go hang out in Italy for a month! I am so excited to see some of the famous art that I’ve studied over the past 4 years and learn about another country’s culture. I have only been out of the country once before and I speak no Italian, so I see this trip as an adventure. My plan is to learn a lot and have as many new experiences as I can in one short month.
